Scattered Pieces

Old School Blogging

Scattered Pieces

Scattered Pieces

Or in short: writing your personal opinion on your subject of interest.

In the past 15 years I have written 3000+ blog posts. Most of them on Shark Freediving but also lots of them on websites that are no longer public to the internet. Of course I still kept them in my special wordpress vault.

I was reading through them and a lot of post were not interesting to read anymore, but some of them actually were! While I was thinking about what to do with it, my passion for writing got triggered.

The Blogging Plan

For some months I didn’t really have a good plan for this website besides linking to the specialized websites I made in the mean time: Jorg Jansen Photography, Coach Jorg, Shark Cartel. And while those websites have the basic information they also have blogs that are not being updated weekly or even monthly. Time to combine and just create 1 big blog for all my writing needs (more about this decision when I sorted everything out).

In the coming week or two, I’m going to setup a very simple website that is for now not focused on design, but pure content. Get some old school good blog post back online and start blogging again by creating. While I haven’t blogged for over a year, last year may be the year I learned the most yet again.
